Question Help! Cannot see my odometer lol

hi guys i have here another small situation-__-
i think this time it might be my fault. Well the problem here is my odometer, and the light on it. Ive researched odometer and there is a replacement bulbs for them behind the cluster but mine is a little different. Only like half of the light is gone from the odometer!! it seems like something electrical and i was thinking of checking the fuses for one.. Not sure if anyone else has this problem but it is a wierd one

Wouldnt the bulb cause the whole cluster to go out? Can it be a fuse tho?

I would imagine there's more than one bulb illuminating the cluster... ? Try and look up clusters and look at the back to see what it could be. As for the fuse question.... I would say probably not. One fuse powering just that little part of the cluster?

Light bulb is out. Doesn't take long to install. I had same problem too. Went to dealership only 3 bucks a bulb.

You got a bulb out. Pull the cluster out and look at the back side of it. The little bulbs twist out.

No, all bulbs do is emit light. They don't affect anything else on the cluster.

FWIW to you, the bulbs are clear in there. The cluster has translucent plastic that's tinted red/orange, that's where the color comes from. Unless you are actually talking about the odometer, which is LED.

If you put a blue bulb back there you are probably going to get purple guages.

I just replaced a bulb in there today. All you need is a philip's head screwdriver. Takes like 1 minute to get it apart, but can be tough getting the whole cluster out. Gotta find the right angle twisting it and turning it. There are two connectors in the back, depress the release on the connector to get it out before you go hulking the cluster out of there so you don't yank a pin from the connector. It is extremely simple. 1 out of 10 on the difficulty scale.

The OEM bulb has a blue condom. That is why he is asking about a blue LED. When I replaced my bulbs I removed the condoms. This makes for a brighter, easier to see dash.

As for a blue LED, I have no idea how this would look. The light LEDs put out is different than a bulb.

damn, really? my memory sucks. I removed the bulb like 5 months ago so i could take it to the store to get a new one. I just had to turn my interior light on to check my gas guage and water temp now and then. Don't remember the condom at all, but i believe it...
