My idle has become totally erratic. Sometimes on start up I have to lightly hold the pedal to keep it running, after about a minute it might try to hold 1500-2000rpm while being lean (16-17afr) with my foot off the pedal. or it may run perfect. I have searched... which has led me to believe its the ISCV... car was running fine and I have made no mods. Its has been about 20 degrees colder than usual, could that throw it off that much? Thanks

 

yeah its been known to. i would take it out and inspect it. maybe if you got another evo friend just borrow his iac. and see if your car runs good. that way you dont go losing all of your tax money!!! lol.

 

also check your vacuum lines. Then your iac

 

vac lines were all ziptied, and have not made any changes. i did have some rotten vac caps and replaced them but no change
