I might sell my evo :(

Hey guys hope you all having a fantastic weekend, just wanted to get some opinions, I am thinking about selling my 2005 Lancer Evolution 8, it only has 6,300 original miles very clean looking I just changed the tires to some nice michelins, the old ones were original but they were really dry guy at the tire shop said its dangerous to drive them so I got some new tires, anyways it also has a salvage title it was vandalized a long time ago but had the car repaited and now looks brand new, it went thru a insurance company and got a salvage title, I was thinking around 19,300 since the miles kbb is around 24k but I would like to hear some opinions, I need cash for a business so thats why I am selling her,

Salvage title almost exponentially decreases price...

If you can explain to the buyer in your add why it has a salvage title it shouldn't affect the valur that much! Bump for a low miles Evo!!

You can get the salvage title removed by a state inspector in most cases. It would be worth looking into.

Are you the original owner and did you buy it with the salvage title?

salvage title is a deal breaker. even if it was nothing. go see how much the trade in value is and sell it for that price. no one is going to put out more money on something that isnt worth anything with the salvage title. even if u have proof that it was just vandalized its very sketchy for the buyer. im sure u can get around 16k for it with that low of miles. i'd even pay that much.

Around 15 if you find someone who you can explain and prove the vandalism too. The low miles help, but there are tons of salvaged titled 8s for 11-13 out there with higher miles.

Keep it at your asking price. I deal with these cars on a daily basis. You will get what your asking for with that low mileage. 90% of these people hear salvage and think trash. Well its not! 19 is fair. Glws man.

I would just hold onto it. I have owned a few salvage vehicles and NEVER got my money back.
