EGR Evo 8 Question

EGR Evo 8 Question
I ran into a problem yesterday and threw a CEL P0401 (EGR). The car feels like it's not even boosting anymore, feels like a naturally aspirated Evo. I checked all the hoses and lines and they look like they're all set.
So, my first question is: If I got a EGR block off plate, is it just blocking off from the EGR to the Intake Manifold?
My other question is, would it be an EGR issue that is causing the car to run like ***? Like I said, it feels like it's a naturally aspirated Evo with no boost

The block off plate is deleting your EGR from the car completely. When you do so you can also delete the Evap canister, solenoid etc. The easiest (laziest) way is to remove the egr, vacuum cap and zip the lines that you took off of it and install the plate. You will also need to disable the EGr in the ecu or the CEL will stay on
