Anyway to get better than 15mpg
If you're that rich, I'd get the tune sorted out ASAP. Check for boost and exhaust leaks, then get the car retuned. If you run rich enough, you can be washing the oil off of the cylinder walls. Obviously not good for the engine.

Read up on here if your not familiar of how to tune your car. Its a lot of reading but well worth it. Speaking of that I need to continue my studies
.
Boost and exhaust leaks are fairly simple to find, if you can't find any boost leaks in your piping check your intercooler, sometimes there can be holes or punctures that you usually would over look (strange things happen lol). If you have an exhaust leak its pretty obvious especially if you are running that rich you should be able to tell. If you can't find anything leaking I'd say check out your spark plugs, injectors, maybe your fuel pump is malfunctioning. it could be a world of different possibilities. Most likely scenario though is you just simply have a terrible tune.

ya, still stock injectors.
So I went for a drive today and idleing it sits at 14.6 then most of the driving I am more like 13.5-14.3 that is with real light cruzing around. I didn.t do any hard pulls but when I was high geared at a lower speed and I gassed a little more my knock cell started flashing, but stopped at let off.
Ya I am going to have to start reading up on that because I really need to get this fixed. Also I still really need to find a way to log my afr. I have only found one other guy on here that has logged with the plx and he told me how but I couldnt figure it out at all.

It is the same, havent changed any thing. I have been completly staying out of boost but I do really need to get it tuned even when I do try to get up and got (merging onto highway or something) it too rich and I have no power but if I try to lean it out a bit I start to get nock

check that website out has a How To for tuning the stock ecu.
My car also gets around 220 miles if i'm driving 50/50 hwy/city. My car starts running rich too early but I don't have a wide band so it makes it a little more difficult to tune as effectively. Hope this link also helps.

Anyways thanks for all the help and information everyone.

Ask yourself these question... what's your driving style like? do you change gear at high rpm, do you like to drag the gear? do you always drive in the highest gear possible? in your case would be are you always cruise in 6th gear when you are 50+mph? the tune is another important factor. I gained mpg after I got different tune with more power.

and i know mine is tuned rich.
