Fuel Injector Question

Forum,

I've got another question from another session of brainstorming at the office during down time..lol. Anyways, I see lots of people here running between 450hp ~ 500hp. I'm looking to get my car ready to reap the full benefits of a say..... FP Green. I want to target right around 450hp, maybe a pinch higher. Stock injectors are like 560cc or something, got that; How big can I go on injectors and still have a daily driver but at the same time spray enough fuel to let the FP Green stretch it's legs? I've seen some civics running like 1000cc but they do like 10mpg-- I'm guessing that they are running methonal but I need mpgs out of my Evo.

I like sprinting but I don't think I'll ever just use my Evo to drag.

Your tune is responsible for mpg, not the size of your injectors...

I would suggest ID 1000's. They are high Z and will give you stock-like idle characteristics. If you are ever planning on going big I'd suggest 2000's.

Will you ever be running e85? That will help determine how much injector you will need

I realize what you are saying but I don't think I can get enough fuel from the stock injectors to do the FP Green justice.

I'm just planning to run 91 Octane and basing everything off of that. I am originally from Washington DC but I'm living in Italy right now and that's all 91 Octane.

Again, I would suggest ID1000's (1000cc injectors) They will idle better than stock and provide all the fuel you need. They are also flow matched at ID so your set of 4 is the closest of the batch across the pressure range. There are many vendors for Injector Dynamics.

How are FIC Injectors? Anybody running those? Does the brand really offer any advantages?
