Favorite Modifications done to your evo
Favorite mod last year was bilstein hd/swift spec-r's. The car rides like a bmw and drives like it's on rails. A little less harsh than my tein flex w/edfc but perform about as well...not better, but on par.
Best mods imo are good tires. My suspension would have been worthless without my star specs (245/45) last season. Just got a set of NT05's (255/40) this year - bada ba ba baaaaa i'm lovin it
Summer - Nitto NT05 (255/40)
Winter - Dunlop SP Wintersport M3 (235/45)
Track - Yokohama A048 (235/45)
Good tires bring out the best in your Evo, both summer and winter (if you live where they are necessary). I recommend all members here to invest in a quality set for optimal performance, grip, and most importantly safety. I've had too many close calls on the streets, not because I drive like a maniac but because of people who have car control deficiency syndrome, and I owe all the accidents I've avoided to a proper tire setup for a given season/conditions.
