Which BOV?

Whats the best BOV to run on a highly modded evo?? HKS, Greddy, Stock, TurboXS, some suggestions would be very helpful

I run a 1st gen bov with the dejon tool leak stop kit and it is amazing.

I also use the 1G BOV. I tried HKS-VTA and I got owned by stalls and eratic idle.

yeah most have a bunch of problems.

Im running the Greddy Type-S custom fitted by Road Race so that the hoses don't rub, and rerouted so it doesn't stall or surge.

Ive had absoultely no problems with it at all, Road Race knows what they're doing.

But i wouldn't recommend changing it unless you were plannin on running higher boost...

I have had them all...except the new 50/50 works/gfb bov and the stratmosphere dv.

I run the Road Race moded Greddy Type R, and its smooth. FYI, road race eng. sells their verison of the G Type R already moded.

yeah...sounds like he's trying to pull a fast one on you...and it sounds like it worked...

let me know when you throw out that BOV for a recirc...

i'm running hks vta. stalled maybe twice since i got it two months ago. no very smooth. recirc'd it and it was fine. just no signature sound that way. i'm 50/50 on this kit. i will probably try another.

Hope your Evo isn't a daily driver...you will get annoyed at the BOV.
