need advice on new 03 evo

Hi a couple of quick questions.

1-what are the switches on the left of the steering wheel? I assume the one is to adjust the headlights, but I'm not sure on the other. And is that an ashtray down there on the left also? or just storage? Yeah I'm a n00b.

2-would you guys have a problem buying one with 66 miles on it? It makes me a bit wary, and I think they would probably find me one with a lot fewer. On the other hand, I could probably deal harder on that point. Any chance of them throwing in an extended warranty? (I know that's probably too much cash). I'm guessing I can get it for 28.5, with wing and roof.

thanks!

1. the two switches left of the steering wheel is as follows
the one that is closest to the steering wheel is the dash lights dimmer
the one that is farthest away from the steering wheel is the headlights adjustment, yes you can adjust the headlights to point up and down a bit.
I dont believe its an ashtray because the ash tray is in the middle near the shifter, i believe its a storage for loose change, i havent noticed that on my Evo.

2. with 66 miles lets see what that means average test drive is about 4 miles, that puts it about 16 test drives, out of the 16 tests drives how many times do you think they let the car warm up and cool down, and also how long when they start testing the car did they mash on the accelarator and see how much the turbo kicks. If i were you, i wouldn't recommend getting it, it seems like the car is a$$ raped. just my opinion, but hey if the dealer can throw in an extended warranty on the car, and its selling cheap, i'd take it.

my 2 cents.

1) Instrument/gauge light dimmer.
1a) Not an ashtray, just a stow away compartment for a very small item.

2) Your choice.

Personally, I think most people are way too paranoid about miles on the odometer. Not all of those miles are necessarily test drives...cars just sometimes show up at dealers with more miles on them than others. Maybe the guy driving it from the factory to the boat had to get lunch that day... Who really knows?

It's up to you in the end of course...just don't write off those miles as abuse necessarily...and if you can get a few hundred more off because of them, great.
