BMI Evo Strikes back!

Anybody see this video? It was on sale since 1/20/04. It's dubbed (by the same guy who does Iron Chef of all things) and subtitled where it needs to be (interviews). The 1st 2 parts are about the Evo, the 2nd 2 are other interesting things. Thing is, even though this DVD is region 0, I couldnt play it on my computer. Had to rip it and watch it. Anyway, it's pretty entertaining.. had a track race between an Evo GSR 6-spd (I would love that for my Evo), an Evo RS 6-spd, and Evo RS 5-spd, a WRX Sti (same as US cept the 2.0liter), and a WRX (Sti?) C-spec. it's like $15 before s/h. Not too shabby if you ask me.

yea was a pretty good video. except when they went aronud tskuba circuit they put the STi driver in the EVO, and the EVO guy in the STi. didnt like that, as the STi driver in the EVO was anti computer and was like 'go fast, computers kick in' something along those lines basically mocknig the EVOS electronic differentials. They should have put in the drivers in the cars they were used to, to get a fair race.......

You have to watch the JDM vs GDM video. Wow the EVO VII beats every car in it by over 3 seconds. [beats porsche , STi by a fkn year, rx-7, m3 , GT-R 34 , NSX and some others.[and the EVO even started 2nd to last ]

That's a different video. That's the Lancer vs Evo where they pitted the STi Spec C against the Evo 7 RS. The driver you're referring to is a very good driver. he got first in his class at the Le Mans in an NSX and races in Japan's JGTC for Autobacs. The guy's name is Keiichi Tsuchiya. He's often called Dori King because he's the first to bring drifting to the media. He doesn't like having cars with computers as driving aids.

As for the other question, you can get US releases here:

for those with "region" issues, try doing a google search for a program called "anydvd"
