Which turbo timer?

What turbo timer do you recommend? Or are they all about the same, no reason to choose one over the other?

A quick search turned up nothing, which sort of surprised me.

I have the apexi. I like it because its small, black, matches the interior lights because it displays in red, and shows the battery voltage.

If you don't have an alarm yet, i would save/spend the extra money (and car protection), to get such as a viper alarm system with built in TT

I have the HKS type 1. It works fine, has multiple settings, but in all honesty, I find them useless. If I drive hard, I remember to let it cool down. They just add more clutter imho.

Turbo timers on late model cars are not needed. So long as you are driving the car at a normal level for a minute or two after you romp on it you are doing everything a turbo timer would of done. That and the oil being fed to turbo's now a days is so slight that the opportunity to have it "cake up" is not really a problem.

long and short...waste of money

If you're beating on the car just sit in there for a few minutes, no need for this long term.

Got the same one. I use it more for a shift light than a turbo timer.

I am so absent minded that I'd lose my own head if it weren't glued on.

Should I still install a turbo timer?
