Question Right Hand Drive EVolutions

Im looking to purchase a new Evo. But I would like to buy a RHD evo VIII from Japan. Im Looking for companies in the US that curently import them or for an Independent Commercial Importer that will do this. I really looking for a new car not driven but low milage ones are alright. It would be cool if some one knows about this subject and could help me out.

I have a friend that imports cars (mostly from Germany) to the US and Canada. His name is Will Zaraska. Here's the link: www.willz.ca

I've talked to him about importing E30 M3's and such from Europe (I can get some nice German machines through some friends in Istanbul...but I needed advice on importing). Basically, the process is very involved and costly. You're probably looking at anywhere from $10K to $20K to make a typical European car street legal. I imagine a JDM car would cost about the same.

Not much point if you ask me. The car's basically the same as ours except for the trick gearbox/diff unit. You can probably buy the parts off a JDM car and have yours converted for less than the cost/hassle of importing.
