Daily driving my IX, mod further or leave it alone?
I am doing all this purely for my own enjoyment - I do not intend to drag race this car, though I would like to take it up to Gingerman and take a driving school with it. Otherwise, it's purely "because I can" if that makes sense. So, what would you do in my shoes? Leave well enough alone, or will I not overpower the stock clutch and trans with a few additional mods?

And the winner is! Ordered the 3.5" wide ETS FMIC and a new AEM WBO2 from English Racing and picked up the adapter harness and GM BCS from spoolinup. I'm going to get those couple things installed and revise the tune, see if I can get a little more boost out of her. Doubtful on 93 octane but she might be ok at 24 or 24.5 with the new FMIC.
Thanks again for all the insight and help, guys. I'll leave the cams and O2 housing for phase 2 or 3 when I have a different car to drive to work, I don't really want to go that far on my main mode of transportation.
I'm going to look into the ACD reflash, but first I need to focus on getting the rear diff down and rebuilding it properly, right?

The flash is so easy and simple to install ... just unplug, send in, reflash and plug back in - car is driveable without the ACD ECU. I'd do it before the diff. Haven't installed my rear diff yet (TRE 12-plate) but for road use the flash is unbelievably good. I am sure the rear diff will introduce another dimension and it will be the cat's meow ... but the car is all I ever imagined it to be with the flash ... handlingwise it was kind of disappointing without it for me.

My car does have one issue and I've read about it on here but haven't found a fix. All three ACD lights come on after driving about 1/4 mile. The previous owner had the entire ACD system replaced at about 35k (under warranty) but that still didn't fix it. Mitsu told him it's likely a short somewhere. The car drives perfectly fine. I'm wondering if a reflash could have any impact on that. I've heard it *could* be an ABS sensor but haven't checked into that yet. Thanks for the info, where would I send it?

Any particular reason why? I know in DSM-land, CoP systems were snake oil, so I took that same attitude on EVOs as well and really haven't looked into them. I appreciate the input though, I'll consider anything.
Alleggerita - I emailed Matt about my ACD "issue" to see if he has any thoughts on it. My concern is that I wonder if in its current state, is the ACD actually doing anything...

Pump definitely turns on, I did the whole "key on, press gas pedal" test and it does activate. Heading out now to short pins 1 and 4 to see if I can pull the ACD code. According to Matt, who I have to say is truly committed by replying to my dumb questions on a frickin' Sunday, my ACD is completely inop and hasn't been this whole time. Sooooo, an ACD reflash won't help anything until I get it working properly.
i'm fairly modded and with a daily driver/autox car - fp green, full boltons, etc etc etc and gtworx springs, bilstein hd struts, built trans and t-case, acd flash, rear diff etc...
if i could go back, i would only do the suspension and rear diff and acd

Wheel speed sensors - Driver front, passenger rear. I'm going to pull the wheels tomorrow night, my buddy and I think there could just be some crud built up around the magnets for the sensors that I can clean off. It could be a wiring issue but I can just rewire them if that's all it is - that sure beats a pump rebuild or what have you. EVOScan's website has the fault codes so I was able to see what the codes mean.
Matt is awesome - he's replying to me at almost 10 pm on a Sunday night. He'll be getting my business for sure, just need to straighten this out first

I appreciate the input man. At some point this car won't be my DD and can become more of a "toy" but that time is not now. Reading what you wrote reinforces what I keep telling myself so that's very helpful!
