Steering column issue....HELP

Hey guys, just finished up my clutch job and in the process I dropped the subframe. I have everything all bolted up and go into the cabin and notice that when I dropped the subframe it decoupled the male shaft from the rack and the female side from the wheel. How do I go about getting these two shafts mated, hopefully without dropping the subframe again...also is this going to jack my steering up if I don't get them splined the some orientation, thanks in advance

Well, after doing more research I discovered the 12 mm pinch bolt at the firewall under the plastic cap. I lined the wheels as straight as possible in correlation to the steering wheel... I will def still be getting an alignment when I complete the project.
