Well, our streets aren't exactly the greatest thing. If it wasn't for the union of horrid construction workers they would be like Alberta's or BC. Afghanistan has better roads than Saskatchewan. All the bumps and pot holes.. ugh. Makes me not want to drive my evo.

How many mpg's do you guys usually get? I use 91 from shell and now get about 310km on a good day. I use to use 94 from husky, but would only see about 250/full tank ..

I have gotten 350+ at best, but usually pretty steady around 300 per tank.

So then 300mpg is typically the Average? I do most of my driving on the highway going 120-130km/h @ 3500-4000rpm. I usually clear about 60-80km a day and fill up on the 3rd/4th day.

I fill up once a week, and drive 50/50 highway and city. 300 per fill is pretty typical, yeah.

I find myself getting damn near the same 350-400km to a tank when traveling, in the city I find myself putting in $20-$30(v-power/co-op) every two days (40km commute to work ). Not a fan of how off the sender unit measures, every corner I'm down a 1/4 tank. Gas is more a necessity than a worry tho, especially in these sport sedans.

There is not really salt in the air, and that would only be a bother if you lived a few kms from the shore, which I do not. The only thing I worry about is the salt in the winter.(my car is stored for winter anyway)

Wonder if there will ever be a way to mod the sender unit so it isn't so off all the time. When I drive on the highway it goes down almost a full quarter then slowly makes its way back up after half an hour. I've even noticed it go down quite a bit when I leave it to warm up in the mornings for 5-8 minutes.

I would definitely store my Evo over winter if I lived farther east. I am somewhat enjoying driving my evo through winter, but I do miss being able to zip around a corner at 60km/h+ with great traction only a few more months.

haha, I hear ya, this car was built for winter-like conditions, and to put it away takes a bit of will power.
