Help Trying to install injectors.

Hello , so far i was able to pull out the fuel rail but lost one of retainer clip of a injector,
Anyway i just want to make sure these injectors seat properly onto the fuel rail.
These are fic 1050cc , about the blue grommet , do i push the injectors all the way into
The fuel rail crushing the grommet ?.

I've got the FIC1050's and didn't need to push the upper grommets all the way in. They are designed like an accordion to provide some positive spring to hold them in postion once you tighten the fuel rail back down. Don't forget to use some motor oil on the lower seals as they are very easy to nick = instant boost leak and increased chance of an engine fire

Anyone have any tips?

I lubed the bottom seal and set them down in the engine and then i lowered the fuel rail down on the heads of the injectors and the secured it down

Update !

I've installed both the walbro and injectors , plug the fuel lines both at the pump and the ones in the engine bay , start the car let it run for 3mn and check for leaks but bone dry.
Today i took my evo out for a spin , but something is wrong, the car bogs and a hissing noise from the engine bay , while parking car idle and rpm fluctuates up to
3k. No fuel leaks or smell either.
power loose at high rpm while driving.
Allthis sounds like boost/ vacuum leak but with no black smoke from the tail pipe.
Keep in minde that the car is not yet tuned.
Any tips where the culprit my be?

It most def will run rich. Do not drive it, running rich for a period of time can wash out the cylinder walls causing problems.

I would remove the injectors and then put the stockers back in until you have time for a tune.! Unless you can get an email tune from a well known tuner.! But stop driving it unless you wanna put alot of money into things. GL

those are pretty popular injectors, search evom for the scaling and latencies and plug them in or see if your tuner can email you a map with those values changed just to get you there. I have fic 1100's and they were extremely easy to dial in, took my tuner about 5 minutes to get mine dialed in near perfect. otherwise put your stockers back in and drive there, now that you know how to install them it shouldnt be a big deal either way
