speed density question

Whats up guys im new to the evo world and just had a quick question for ya. So im switching to SD amd i was wondering can i just put the gm iat sensor in the oem place on the im or do i have to get a bung welded in my ppi piping?? Also do i need a special intake?? Any info would be appreciated thanks

Why are you switching to SD? Is your turbo larger than a stock-frame turbo?

The gm ait sensor needs to be able to read the air temperature of the compressed air so it is best to put it somewhere on the intake manifold or the UICP. So if you have the bung then go ahead and weld it into the pipe.

The air intake can not have a recirculation outlet.

Yes im pushing a twin scroll gt4088 my tuner advised i switched since my mag is holding me back but im using a bung on my piping already for a boost source so looks like im gonna have to find me someone who can weld alluminum
