self made dead pedal
my "custom" dead pedal on the left, factory one on the right

i'm a little taller than average (6'1) yet like to sit close to the steering wheel, so the factory dead pedal has always been in the way and cramping my left leg. i finally had enough of it, took it off, cut off/grinded down the studs holding it in place, and glued on a custom cut piece of rubber floormat.
it looks ghetto i know
but it works and feels a lot better than it looks. my left leg no longer feels cramped on longer drives. together with the Recaro SP-G mounted on the lowest position on Buddy Club rails (the Bride FOs sidemounts before sat as almost high as stock), i don't feel like i'm driving a van anymore.
sometimes the littlest things make the biggest difference (i can extend my leg ~1" further). i highly recommend doing this to taller drivers
