Replacement Headlights

I'm looking for cheap replacement headlights for my race car. Before everyone gets all up in arms about cheap replacement parts, please note the following:

- the car won't actually be racing at night
- rules say I have to have headlights on the car
- I have to trim off several brackets due to my intercooler setup
- this makes cheap partially damaged OEMs hard to use
- its on a race car, so these will get damaged and broken

I've done a bunch of searching and haven't come up with much, and did turn up a thread on this site that was from about a year ago saying there wasn't much in the way of options for the VIIIs and IXs.

Anybody know of anything that might fit the bill?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

There are companies that make plastic pieces that go inplace of your headlights but they don't have any lights and they're unpainted. I don't remember where I saw them but it was last week so they are out there. From UK.

Yep, I've seen those, but my class rules state I must have functional headlights. I've done alot of work with carbon fiber on the car this year, and believe me, if we were allowed to do that, I'd drop those 10-12 lbs off the front of the car in a heartbeat.

Yea I figured you need atleast hazards if not all the lights. Unfortunately I've searched for the last couple months and have even talked to a few people trying to get a cheap set made and nobody has anything for us. OEM or nothing which sucks.
