Just how bad is the salty air around a beach for evo?

So next week I am suppose to be going to LBI for the weekend at a house right on the beach. The driveway (sand/gravel) is right behind the dunes. I pretty much have to take my evo, and I'm afraid the salty damp air is going to rape my car....

Will it?

I know I saw someone post a picture of them driving their evo on the beach, and everyone kept commenting how the salt is very bad for the car. I won't be driving on the beach, but I might as well be parking the evo on the beach.

I used to bring my Evo to Daytona beach at least once a month for a year. Just wash it once you leave the beach, I saw no signs is damage from salt/sand

Prolonged exposure to salt will cause rust. Just wash and get a good undercarriage cleaning once you leave the beach.

One weekend isn't going to cause any problems.

+1

Just wash it when your weekend get away is over. Don't forget the underage and Engine bay wash with soupy water and then spray WD40. You'll be good as new.

I have nothing planned for the weekend. I am willing to go instead of you. Will fulfill your social commitments and even rinse the car off when done. Let me know
