Odd issues
Background story: ACT Clutch finally exploded and I replaced it with a comp stage 2, installed FP Green HTA w/fullrace manifold at the same time.
On to the issues:
The car has had a starting issue for a while where I had to rock the car back and forth while in gear to get the starter to engage and spin. You could hear the fuel pump prime as I rocked the car and once that happened the car will start most the time (I’m thinking starter or battery needs to be replaced as I’ve checked starter wiring)
Now it is starting to also die randomly on the highway when I’m cruising in 5th in the mornings, feels like a blown off intercooler hose but I’m on one of Aaron’s SD maps. I did have my rear O2 sensor wires rip recently (I have cut them down and covered individually with electrical tape), but the rear O2 is disabled and I doubt it’s a fuse because once I wait a while the car will start. However in this situation the car cranks the entire time just doesn’t start. So I’m thinking the two issues are completely separate unless it’s something like a crank or cam sensor. (Thinking fuel pump on this one) I have a 2-3 year old Walbro 255 in there and it’s time to upgrade to the E85 400LPH anyways since Aaron and I are about to be maxing out the same 255 (again)
I'm getting really sick of my Evo guys.... but there hasn't been a car that made me want to sell it. However this is starting to push me over the edge. (I don't like being late to work)
IDEAS THUS FAR:
Fuel pump
Fuel pump wiring
Cam/crank sensor
