slight clicking noise from front driver after axle change

So I had an axle changed and when I was driving home I heard a fairly faint clicking or ticking noise that changed in frequency as the cars speed changed.

Any ideas what could cause this? Wheel bearing, some dirt in the axle joint? I didn't check for a rock in the tread but its always possible cause the shops lot is all gravel

I have the same issue man....just finished a clutch job and both axles were removed and reinstalled. Its coming from both sides. Im going to make sure its not my brakes...I didnt touch those so I dont know if thats the issue or not...Its a scratching sound as i drive, its very noticable in tunnels and parking garages. Its not the splash shields behind the rotors, I just put brand new ones on....let me know if you figure it out and ill do the same...im rebuilding my calipers now so it might be a little while
