AEM UEGO help

I installed my wideband and now I am trying to log it with Evoscan.
I solder pin 2 to the blue cable and pin 5 to ground of a serial cable to usb adapter. Installed drivers for the adapter and using COM5.
I checked for voltage on the cable and I get around 2.23 fluctuating when the wideband is on.
Now in evoscan I select AEM UEGO 9600 and i select my com port.
I ticked the WDB on the log options but all I get is 0 value.
I redid the soldering 3 times now thinking the cable was faulty but now I really dont know what to do....

Thanks for any advice

is there any way to test the serial to usb adapter? I have windows 7, it seems that i'm not getting anything through while the adapter seems to be installed correctly.
