ETS UICP + Injen Intake. Anyone?

I got the ETS full intercooler piping kit a few months back, I installed the LICP (no problems) but never really got around to putting the UICP on. I heard that the UICP doesn't really improve much if you're running the stock battery route. Anyways, I'm taking apart the intercooler and piping today (New FMIC) and figured I would install the ETS UICP while I'm at it.

My question is: I saw pictures of the ETS UICP installed and it looks like it goes OVER the Intake/Filter. Is this true? And if so, does anyone have experience with the ETS UICP installed with an Injen intake? My Injen seems to sit high up, and I don't think I would have clearance if I closed the hood with the UICP sitting over it.

This is where I saw the stock route piping:

I have the Injen intake and it does seem high, idk if they will play nice, space is kinda tight there. May have to go back to stock tube :/ Try to put it all in there and see how it pans out...

Yeah seems like no one else has that setup. I'll try it out sometime this week and let you know if it works or not. If it doesn't.... looks like I have an excuse to get an ETS intake

I do not have the Injen intake...but AEM instead with full ETS piping.

It is kind of a tight fit...but no issues. The AEM seems to sit high as well. Good luck:

any update on how the ets uicp and injen intake fit? I bought my evo with the injen intake and intercooler pipes on the stock intercooler, but I just purchased the ets intercooler kit. Just curious if I can make it work.

the injen intake connects to the turbo with a rubber coupler and that rubber coupler is flexible and can allow the injen to be pushed slightly down even if using an ets uicp, so it seems that it will fit and have decent clearance for the hood
