I would never buy a flooded car unless it was for a very specific purpose.... like parts or completely rebuilt racecar.

Depends on what you are looking to do with it. As a street car, you are taking a risk as problems may arise. As a stripped out race car with a rebuilt garness, it would be perfect, for the right price of course.

To me it comes down to how much it is going to cost you and how much money you can spare. I'd buy a flooded car for sweet f all, drive it till it dies. Could be two months, could be 2 decades. Just as long as I'm not fussed about losing whatever money I paid for it.

As for fixing it up, if you're up to the challenge and the price is right then why not?
