Bouncing around ideas on what the problem could be why my car wont start. I have a 2003 evo and it was suffering from the "turn the key and rock it 10+ times to start it" problem. I looked online and saw that it could be the ignition switch. I followed this thread

The car started no problem, then I put the ignition switch back together. After I put it all back together it was doing the thing before I pulled it down, turn the key and nothing. I pulled it down again to double check everything and with the key directly in the ignition switch the car just cranks now but doesn't start. Now the dash lights, my gauges wont light up at all. Ran out of light outside before I could look at it some more but does it sound like a fuse blew or my ignition starter finally took a crap on me?

Any thoughts/suggestions would be greatly appreciated
