I can't legally change the fuel system in my autox class, so it's 100 octane for me (for big events).

What are your mods and what are your goals? Is E85 convenient where you are?

Convenience was the biggest reason I stopped using E-85. I ran it daily for a year, and had to plan my routes accordingly, and always carried extra fuel. If you dd or do track days, thats the biggest concern. Otherwise, between the two, I'd pick E85; 105 octane at less than half the price of race fuels, naturally cooler.

You might be able to still get e85. I believe MAP sells it by the drum. I'm not sure of the shipping restrictions though.

I don't think you can ship that to residential addresses. Anyways, 55 gallon drums will last all but 2 weeks.

BEST vp Import > e85 == Q16/C16 > 109 > 100 > 94 > 93 > 92 > 91 > 87 > California 91 WORST

If you have access to E85 it is the best choice for the performance and the cost. It is 3-4 bucks a gallon, so it is about the same cost as pump gas, maybe a little bit more expensive, but it is more than half the cost of race gas. 100oct is about 10 bucks a gallon, c16/q16 is 16 a gallon, and vp import is like 25 a gallon.

So fi you have access to e85 dont even think twice, just have an E85 and pump gas tune.

Also keep in mind the lead in some race fuels will shorten the life of wideband sensors if you have anynot so with corn!

Try shell URT advanced. People are getting c16 or better numbers with it. Unleaded to boot.

And twice the possible carnage. Some.of the most reputable shops wont even mess with a car that has a meth kit.

Of course if you have No E85 available then you may not have a choice but to risk your motor on a daily basis if you want more power.
