I need just the front driver's side cv boot. I called 3 auto parts stores, my local dealership, and mitsubishipart, and nobody sells just the boot. I know it just tore today and it is still full of grease, I just want to replace the boot ASAP but I can't even find one. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ive only seen the universal kit at the part store but those are GARBAGE !! Save your engine bay from the grease slinging everywhere and just buy the boot kit at the dealer... I know they are pricey and come with grease but they work....

I called 2 dealerships, my local dealership and mitsubishiparts.net and both told me there is no boot kit for the Evo.

I'm going to check now, thanks!

Ordered from Rock Auto! According to their part number cross check it is the same as DSM's and several other Mitsubishis. I hope it fits!

Yeah, those parts guys don't know what they are talking about. Every time I go to my local dealership, it's always some old Mopar guy that knows nothing about Mitsubishi parts. That's why I just get part numbers and give it to him instead of him trying to get the part numbers, because it's almost never right.

But just for future reference.
MN156751 - Inner boot nearest to the trans.
MN156750 - Outter boot nearest to the knuckle.
Both are kits and come with clamps, grease, etc.

The Rock Auto one is the correct one, I got it installed today. It's a pain, harder then just installing a new axle though.
