need drag help.
Well now I understand why your two step is set a little lower. Try bumping it up a couple hundred rpm and see where that gets you. Tire pressure around 20psi and go for it. NTLS will help keep the turbo spooled between gears if you are willing.
Yes lol thats the whole PROBLEM! Ha i think i narrowed it down though. Fyi ive only dragged 4 times in my life. Second im in utah at 4400' above sea level. And im just a ****ty driver lol i need practice
I had nlts set up and does it automatically cut fuel at that certain rpm?? Or do u have to push in clutch?? I was just crusing n punched it. When it hit that rpm it fell on its face and scared the shiy outta me so i turned it off
Jw when you had the nlts on and it fell on its face did you have your foot on the clutch Pedal cause with my nlts it is activated by the clutch pedal if I have any pressure on the pedal at all it falls on its face like your trying to shift. Always have to take the foot off the pedal after every shift
Ok little update. I had a buddy set up my nlts and it works but is it supposed to pop while shifting?? It kinda sounds like my 2 step in between each shift. It works though its kinda intimidating lol
I see a lot of people running the rev limits a lot higher than 7k. You would probably pick up a decent amount of time and MPH on your trap if you rev it out to 8-8.5k. What kind of 2.4 setup are you running? LR? Also, im assuming your head is built, so it should be able to handle a little higher redline for sure!
Turn your 2 step up a little more and i would say def turn up your rev limiter. 7K for a rev limiter is stock i believe and since your running a 40R, you should prolly turn it up a bit.
Lol no sorry my motor is built from slow boy racing and everyone i talk to says never take a 2.4 over 7k. Its not built for high rev. Also i have stock head just cams
