Can Any Traders Ship To The Uk???
hi
i emailed a few with no response, but due to the current exchange rates it makes it very worth while for uk evo owners to buy bits from the states and have them shipped to the uk, can any traders on here do this for me, im mainly looking for tein suspension ra for an evo 7 rs2. I understand that because of card fraud this may put some traders off but i would be willing to transfer $$$$ cash into your account, so can any traders give me any prices and what duty would i have to pay, obviously uk 17.5% VAT instead of US taxes but would there be anything else
cheers

I would imagine that the Vendors are physically able to ship to you. I suggest you call them directly and try to place an order.
Get the vendor to put the word 'gift' on the international shipping label. That way you won't get charged the duty or the VAT.
I know that when I buy parts from the UK (for my turbo Mini project), I don't have to pay US tax or UK's VAT. Are you sure you have to pay VAT on imported goods where the transaction took place outside the UK?
SC~

We sell to a few UK customers. It's not always cheap, but the customers seem happy. PM me for more info.
You're right about credit card issues, though; we can't take them from outside the country, so we use wire transfer or PayPal.

I agree the exchange rate is great right now - at $1.83/1UKP that's the highest rate in 11 years.
You wouldn't pay VAT to the dealer here in the states, since they don't collect UK taxes. At the same time, they will not charge you state taxes.
However, you may be assessed duty by UK customs, which is collected by the carrier. I believe that threshold is 132UKP, but it may have changed.

We have plenty of European and Australian customers. We take international credit card orders, although there is a fee associated with it. It's a little more expensive, but given the weak dollar, still a good deal.
