Will S/S Clutch hose void WARRANTY?

I have the chance to change out the stock crappy hose with a SS unit tonight, but I'm worried that it could give me problems later.

I bought the Platinum Warranty because I want 100k miles without having to fix anything.

I called two local dealers and both said that it's a tough call because it would depend on what broke and what presumptions could be made as to what the cause was.

I explained that there's a restrictor pill in the line that I would be LEAVING IN PLACE to save the expensive parts and fry the clutch, if anything. I also explained that the stainless hose merely added "pedal feel" and not any significant performance advantage or potential to harm or abuse other driveline parts.

They said that my argument would be tough for them to challenge, but that they can't definitely say one way or the other because it's always a case-by-case scenario.

Anyone out there have experience with this issue?

They might not void it as long as you leave the restrictor inline with the hoses. And fill it with the proper brake fluid.

Re-opened. If we see more flaming, this thread will be trashed. Keep it clean and on topic.

my dealer said no problem as long as the restrictor was left alone.... it is just an upgraded line that doesn't flex like the stock...
