Hey guys thought I would share this find with the community. I had been looking for an ally battery box for a while but I couldn't pull the trigger on the Taylor for $175 bucks, thats nuts. So I did some searching and came across this, believe it or not overstock.com. It fits our batteries, comes with the battery tie down bar, mounting hardware, is NHRA approved, what else is there to say? I received mine and it is a really thick gauge of ally, the welds are okay, nothing awesome, but no splatter or holes. And the bottom line price? $50 shipped, that's awesome Check out the pics I attached.

From my measurements out battery is
Exactly 9" L
7" wide
8" tall

 

ebay sells alumn. boxes, universal for around 50-125

 

Dunno about their quality, I can attest this is a nice battery box, one I would put in my evo, and I'm pretty ****.....
