I have an rs and its in the trunk, like snowmastergt said you bought the ic sprayer reservoir!

 

Oh no maybe your right ..does the rs have Intercooler sprayers?

 

What was the reason for the washer tank being in the trunk? Just to make room for the Intercooler sprayer tank?

The 04 VIII RS def had IC Sprayers from the factory. I remember clear as day filling the tank often as my ex used to drive around with it in auto all the time




05+ the IC Sprayer went way on all models

It is. The IC sprayer tank is black plastic. The windshield washer tank is white plastic.

 

Ok great thanks for the info ..So all evo 2003 to 2006 windshield washer tank's are the same located in the right side of the trunk?

 

Mine is an 04 and its doesnt even have the button or the tank. There would be atleast something to tell that it used to have.

 

The IC sprayer tank went away because the ACD pump occupied the same space. My windshield washer tank is on the passenger side in the trunk. There would have to be a reason for the manufacturer to change the location to somewhere else. Redesigned parts cost money. Well, nothing changed in the trunk area.

 

Hmmm have actually been in a couple 04 RS's and the button and tank were certainly there. Are you original owner of the car?

If not original owner may have put 05+ center console. Curious if the connector for the sprayer is under your console?

 

If it has the original front bumper you might be able to find the washer nozzles on the inside of the lower "mouth" of the bumper.
