I need to do the front axles on my 8. Im am up in the air between the drive shaft shop oem replacement and the 900hp ones. Im not putting out anything around 900hp nor do i plan on it. If everything goes right with my money situation i would like to get about 500-600 hp. So my question is will the oem replacements work or will i destroy them pretty fast. This will be just a fun DD. There is $360 difference between the two thats why I am asking if its necessary.

 

i dont know why u need front axles in the first place, but i have not seen one reported failure of the oem axles even on cars running 9 second 1/4 mile. stick with the oem axles and you'll be fine.

 

Well they at least need to be rebuilt. So i figured might as well just replace them
