also what do you mean by it has to be mounted vertically? Mine is mounted on its side where the boost control knob is on the side rather than facing the top. I have seen a lot of others mounted the same way, is it bad?

I knew it was something, I should have looked into it first

 

i was having the same issue with mine and now i'm at stock boost with mine, but when i reach peak boost at wot it flutters by about +/-2 psi. does any one know what can i do to fix that?
