synapse bov model???

I own an evo 8 and im gonna be buying a used synapse bov. Its the style thats half silver and half black and kind of looks like a bullet. I noticed tho that the new synapse bovs are different they look like a black light bulb more or less. Is this a new and improved version and should i hold off on the used black and silver one or are they all the same? If anyone knows what im talking about and can clarify this it would be great. Thanx.

Both the older Synapse BOV and the newer Synapse are excellent. It takes some patience and knowledge to set-up the older Synapse properly but its worth the effort. The newer smaller Synapse is easier to install and easier to set-up. If you need new rings which shouldn't be an issue at this point. They are available on the website. http://synapseengineering.pinnacleca...parent=17&pg=1

Just be careful with the oring, lay it in the bov and push the flange into the bov. Use water for lubrication.

If you put the oring on the flange it will more than likely tear.

I sold my brother my old one and put it on his Evo 8. Took that stupid anti stall thing off, the springs just don't last on that piece.

Car runs 12.43s @ 111mph on the stock 8 charger and baby hotside.

Lmfao "baby hotside" thats good man. Cant wait for my fp red to arrive so i can sell my baby. Lol. Anyways good info. Looks like ill order a o ring for it asap just to be safe. Not sure what u mean by the anti surge thing but im sure ill find out when i take it apart which i most likely will do before i even install it.
Thanks
