I test drove an Evo 8 a couple days ago, and it drove fine, but when it was idling it had a really loud noise, sounded like a bad belt, that didnt worry me too much. What did worry me was, when the car was idling, I would rev the car(to about 2 or 3 thousand RPM) and about 2-3 seconds after it de-revved the whole car would begin to shake pretty badly. You could feel it through the steering wheel and the seats. It did this after it was warmed up too, anyone know why this is?

 

What are the mods for the evo? Is it tuned?

 

Did the idle drop really low?

 

I think the car was a back to stock, not sure though. The RPMs didnt really drop below normal Idle.
