Random T'd off hose at end of intake manifold?
So I was cleaning up my engine bay when I noticed something very very strange. There is a black hose going from the intake manifold to a solenoid at the end of the manifold (maybe 3 inches apart). However, it is t'd off. and the middle part is not hooked into anything! I started the car and had a friend put his finger over the part of the hose that goes to nothing and instantly my vac dropped to around 20. When its just open, the vac is a little under 0.
Picture:

Is this a factory T? If so where does the other part of the hose go?
Or was this maybe for a fuel pressure gauge from the previous owner?

A lot will tap into that vacuum line for a boost gauge and such. If you don't have one hooked up, remove that T or just cap one end off. Your setup has a boost leak the way it is now if that extra line isn't plugged (or going to a boost gauge).

Thats what i thought, however when i bought the car it already had a boost gauge installed and it was tapped into a different line on the other side of the car. and my current one is installed on the blue/black striped tube next to it.
But you're sure this isn't supposed to be T'd off from the factory? if so ill just connect the two ports back together i have enough hose
I hope to god this is gonna solve the idle misfires that i've been having
