Clutch pressure plate opinion
Has anyone here used thier stock pressure plate with a performance clutch? What is your opinion on it.
I have read a few forums but not alot of post about this topic

I think there are different variables to consider if you plan to stick with the OEM pressure plate...torque output being one of them. If you are stock or with light mods and you want to save on cost and retain OEM pedal feel...then yes, OEM PP is the way to go.
ACT posted a basic formula (somewhere on EvoM) on clutch torque capacities given the cF of the clutch disc and force of the PP...you may want to use that as a guide.
This is my second ACT street clutch and PP...the PP is slightly harder on the pedal but not really noticeable.
If cost is not really an option, a higher rated PP may be a welcomed upgrade.
