There is an AMSOIL one and I'm sure NAPA auto parts has a generic one that will work too.

Since it's a cabin filter, I don't think it needs to be ARC with rainbow titanium JDM bling.

+1. . OT I change it whenever the maintenance schedule says to change it. Never ceases to amaze me that folks on here will spend $2k on a set of rims or an ARC rainbow plate but can't spend on a filter?

There's an old thread on here about making your own from filter material sourced from Home Depot/Lowes.

For those that didn't know 03's did not come with cabin filters. Some have retrofitted them in but they never came factory.

Iv also noticed that my interior dust has gone down significantly. Since changing mine. So far the benifits of mine cabin filter have been...

Car heats up quicker
Blower motor has quieted down
Less interior dust.

Granted my cabin filter was horrible!!!

Dead bugs, crushed leafs, brown and black dust caked in there.

So a 6 dollar filter is worth it to me.

Check yo cabin filter!!!

Which is why we instead have issues with our blend door controls locking up. Saves on regular maintenance but bites you in the *** when you have to drop $200 in parts (if you didn't break anything) and spend 2 days tearing the dash apart to fix it.

Are saying that if you own an 03 that you should do the retrofit?
