Could I get you guys to have a quick look at the pictures below and tell me if that (I am no mechanic) hole/port/etc looks ok?

What am I looking at? A dirty oil drain back spot??

Clean it up with brake-kleen and put the cover back on.

 

It looks like it was possibly burnt so was getting worried
