so what are they, xenon or hid. I can swear there xenon cuz there the same type of bulbs as my dads porsche , and hids or on my dads escalade and u can tell the difference between the two

HID is the same as XENON (The real thing not the cheap Wal-Mart XENON bulbs). As stated before, XENON is the gas that fills the HID's bulbs.

...and the reason they look different is because they're different color temps.

Xenon is the name of the gas as pointed out above, "HID" stands for High Intensity Discharge if I'm not mistaking.
