Stock EVO Dyno Plots - 12k miles

Well, I finally got around to getting the EVO dyno'd. This was done on an AWD Dynojet, I believe model 224x.

The car has a little over 12k miles on her right now. I am the original owner, bought back in April of 2003 with 6 miles on the clock. There was really no break-in period experienced on her either, I'd say maybe 25 miles before I ran her.

I did five dyno runs.. The first three were done without the use of a fan. The last two were done with the use of a fan. Also, I did a mixture of runs between 3rd and 4th gear, for those who are curious. Details are listed on each, so enjoy!

For the record, car is NOT modified. Runs were done on Exxon 93 octane gas, too. Numbers are also listed in SAE CORRECTED

3rd Gear Runs:

4th Gear Runs:

Comparison of 3rd + 4th Gear, with fan on.

Well, I do have a OEM rear strut bar, OEM front bumper canards and OEM brake ducts - do they count?

Dang guys... I said its a good read, thats not how I broke my car in. Everybody has their own personal preferences on breaking in cars/engines... and I didn't really follow his procedures. I certainly didn't drive up and down the road in back and forth all night...

It is amazing how close the curves represent the results using a Road Dyno. Xntc and I both dynoed our stock cars using his Road Dyno last spring and came in around 245whp to 250whp with torque about the same as yours. We made the runs in 4th gear ( I think). I am simply comparing how close a dyno that cost $150 bucks to own reads to a chassis dyno. Nice numbers.

Speedlimit....

Edit: We made the runs in 3rd gear.

Ahh, cool. I'd love to try his out and see the difference between the chassis and road. You have any links to the type of dyno he has?
