I recently came acroos an evo X turbo very very cheap. I was wondering if anyone had any information on installing an evo X turbo on an evo VIII. I wasnt sure what else would be needed to make this swap happen. Im sure i will have to do a custom down pipe after getting an o2 housing. Any information would be greatly appreciated. thank you

 

I dont believe that will work very well at all. The custom work will more than likely cost more than just a stock frame turbo. look for a evo 9 turbo. those are not all that expensive and its bolt on and go type turbo.

 

I don't think it would be an upgrade from even the Evo VIII turbo, it is a bit smaller. The fab work, as already mentioned, would make it serious folly to attempt this.

Even if it is cheap cheap, I'd pass.
