My "new" calipers

I bought the maperformance rotor kit with steel braided lines the other day and decided that i couldnt slap my flaked and faded brembos back on.

i sandblasted the powdercoat off and painted them g2 caliper paint. the reason the rear calipers look better is i used a 2:1 paint to activator mix on accident. i had the decals printed at a local store and i painted over them with ceramic paint.

My calipers need to be repainted badly. The custom stickers are ok.

Think im going to go with black calipers and white brembo stickers.

How hard was it to reinstall the calipers and bleed the lines?

Yeah, i have the car ripped apart right now waiting on my rev 3 intake port work and 400lph fuel upgrade from map. Ill throw the rims on tomorrow to see how it looks.

the paint was brush on g2 caliper paint. its actually epoxy. the spray over the decal is ceramic header paint cured with a heat gun. the penguin was on an old ralliart emblem, i just sized it and slapped the viii next to it. any vinyl shop will print the decals for about 20 bucks, i have about 30 copies of them too because the chick couldnt get them right.

bleeding the lines was so awesome now that i have a 35 doller vacuum pump from autozone. i pulled the lines and vacuumed out all the old brake fluid. then you put the clear vacuum hose onto the bleed screw and bleed the old fashioned way. then you apply some vacuum on the hose and pull it off. not 1 drop spilled.
