Miles before the engine dies?

Ok been searching for about an hour and can't find a thread or Anything that doesn't say ask on an evo forum. But how many miles are average for a 2004 evo all stock except greddy exhaust. Car has 126000 miles on it and I was wondering if it will last much longer or if the engine is more than likely going to die soon.
Thanks and sorry for being such a noob

I don't see why a 4g63 won't last as longas you take care of it honestly. The motor is stout.

As long as it's properly maintained it should last extremely long. There's someone on this forum with over 300k on their engine. I think he had it rebuilt at around 200k, not because the engine blew but just because he wanted more power if I remember correctly.

Any engine will last a long time if you take care and do regular maintenance on it. Theres a saab that its on a museum with 1,000,000 on its original engine(just headgasket replaced) doing regular maintenance and using Mobil 1.

131,xxx here. Motor was excellent across the boards on compression and leak down, no sludge, just normal maintenance. I do beat the **** out of her from time to time, but I always make up for it with maintenance. I'm only at 342whp because its a conservative tune (stock block, head, headstuds and small injectors).

Like everyone else has said, as long as oil is maintained as well as regular service (water pump, timing belt, fluids, suspension wear & tear) you can last a million miles

Exactly.
Looking for advice on upkeep and longevity, ask 4RETECH. He's the one on here with over 300K.

Lets say you do have a well taken care of, high mileage evo..110k+, can it still run as good and hard as less mileage evos? Or do you have to drive them softer.

130k miles here. I bought it with 117 I think. I've probably launched the car more than most people on this forum. So, no, if it's well taken care of, and not beat to **** or a crappy tune, then you're all set

True. But how do you feel about modifying a block with a lot of miles.
