I have a blue 2005 evo 8. I just ordered some carbon fiber fenders(10mm wider) for my car as one of my front fenders is cracked and the cost of getting a new one and painting it was almost the price of a set of cf ones. I have searched and can't seem to find a lot of ppl that did this. If there is anyone with these on your can can you please post pics of a non painted cf fenders. On a side not I just ordered a oem style cf hood and a do-luc duck bill trunk, some work kiwami 18x9.5+20, apr rear difuser and fortune auto coilovers. . Waiting for all the parts to come in is nerve wrecking lol.

 

ive got a set of seibon CF fenders on my GG, i honestly didnt like the way it looked. And they Fade FAST. i sanded them and clear coated them. but the fading was bad i ended up just sanding it down really far and Doing a Vinyl over them. Ill prolly Plasti dip them this year My trunk and hood are CF too, My trunk has held up the best so far, hood not so much.. Stay outta the sun

 

so yours didnt come clear coated? cause the ones i ordered are like tripple clear coated.my car is mostly garage kept neway. did you get the usdm or the jdm fender. Were all your cf parts seibon?

 

oh they were clear coated, and "UV" protected clear coat too... pfft. My car is garaged kept too, but driving/parking in the sun :/ All but my hood was seibon, my hood is a Vis, which isnt much better.... I have it all vinyled over now, that was the best/cheapest solution for me. Not sure, the fenders are wider and have a slit in them near the light.

 

I guess the test of tine will show the results lol
