I need some help on how the spring that is in the interior door handle on the ds rear door is mounted. When i took the door panel off, i must of somehow broke a piece of plastic or something in the handle or knocked the spring out of place. When i pull the latch to open the door, the latch stays out now, it doesn't spring back like its supposed to. Not sure if i need to get a new door handle or if i just need to get the spring back in place

 

I'd pull the panel again and have a look. If it broke, the it broke. It's possible that the spring came off of it's peg though.

It's a vertical spring, and there is a post that is plastic that holds the top part of the spring iirc.

If it became damaged, you'll need an entire new handle mechanism, as I don't think those parts are sold separately. If you GIS, you'll be able to see a bunch of pics of them...
