evo 8: car shut off while cruising

evo 8: car shut off while cruising

Car just shut off on me while cruising(not under boost) Checked for leaks, everything looks fine. also checked fuses and that looks fine too. Any help on what the issue could be ?

Not when it shut off. Check engine light came one when I tried to crank it. Don't have a reader with me at the moment

Battery voltage Is fine. Check engine light didn't come until I came to stop and tried turning it back on. I think it maybe the fuel pump. I don't hear it at all. Will check codes tomorrow

Managed to get an obd code reader. Ended up being the crankshaft position sensor.

I had a similar problem when i would clutch in my car would die. It thought it was IAC but ended up being wideband sensor. It was shot and was tell my aem ecu to shut down.

Looks like the sensor just died all of a sudden. spit out code P0335. waiting for the part to come in so i can replace it.
