Ebay Gauge pod like Gruppe S

Was cruising around the internet on the hunt for a Gruppe S gauge pod and cam across this:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-Mitsubishi-Evo-Custom-Gauge-Pod-Bezel-52mm-OEM-Ac-Control-Radio-Trim-/181120459590?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2a2b9ee346
Anyone have any experience with this?

I bugged Gruppe S a couple weeks ago about these pods. Maybe if enough other people bug them, they could at least do a sale based on a specific number of orders/deposits.

Email Exchange -

Me:

Any chance you guys will ever do another run on the 52mm Evo IX center gauge pods you guys made? I know there is a lot of interest on the forums. These are selling for $120 plus. You guys could make some good money off them, and I know people would be happy to buy them from you and not eBay.

Thanks!

Eddie:

If we had them in stock, I would sell them. Sorry I don't have anymore.

I am trying to get our mfg to remake them ASAP

Thanks

Eddie

Well it's better than hunting around for them trying to get lucky. I don't think gruppe s will be making them either. $130 ain't that bad so I got it. If it doesn't turn out well I can return it. I already have an autometer lower pod and bought an upper din model as well and awaiting install. Once I get it ill post up close up pics and a review. Only downfall is I have to paint it or wrap it.

Well out of nowhere someone messaged me stating the had a gruppe s gauge panel. So now I can do a side by side comparison for all the gauge pods I got now.

It's the same as the one I got I believe from the same person. Once I get them both in the mail I'm going to do a comparison then probably sell whatever one I don't want. I be got the gruppe m, eBay hand made, autometer upper din, and autometer lower pods. So if there's any takers out there for theses items pretty soon ill be putting them up for sale. Probably keeping the gruppe s but we'll see.
